Structural analysis of inhibitor-bound folate-dependent enzymes in particular species of dihydrofolate reductase, to design novel anticancer or antipneumocystis drugs; other targets are thyroid hormone binding proteins from human and animal species to study the role of thyroid binding as a function of evolution and the role of variants in the formation of amyloid fibrils, also protein-protein interactions of human topoisomerase as a drug target.
