Blast Wave And Noise Induced Neurodegeneration

Exposure to intense blast wave or high level continuous noise can lead to hearing loss and subsequent degeneration in the brain. The goal of this project is to document the location and time course of neurodegeneration in the auditory brain using classical and novel markers of nerve fiber degeneration.
