3D Printing Working Group

The 3D Printing Working Group investigates and promotes use of "hobby-grade" 3D printing platforms. This work is motivated to overcome barriers to broad adoption due to inherent challenges associated with any production technology. We seek to systematically develop and share knowledge related to best practices for calibration and troubleshooting, characterizing materials, and design for additive manufacturing guidelines.
