Two undergraduate research assistants are needed for a research project on evolution of auditory system of vertebrates. The assistants will perform 3D segmentation of auditory structures from CT and/or MRI images. Training will be provided to use biomedical and bioengineering software to process CT data, build 3-D models, and possibly perform landmark based shape analysis. This project aims to generate critical morphology and variation data for understanding the structural changes across species.
Disciplines: Anatomical Sciences & Evolutionary Biology
Student Skill-Set Needed: Desire to learn and work with technical software programs, being able to commit to a regular schedule and be on time.
Compensation: Academic Credit, Volunteer, Work Study
