Building A Web-based Application To Parse Text From Documents

I'm looking for an enthusiastic computer programmer who can help with a tool that will translate a LaTeX document into other programming languages. This project involves the use of "regular expressions" to find patterns in the LaTeX document. Based on the matched patterns, the application will produce a new document that contains the same information represented in another language (like Python, C, C++, Java, R, etc.).

Research Project Information

Disciplines: Computer Science, Industrial and Systems Engineering
Student Skill-Set Needed: web programming, using/creating "regular expressions", ability to work independently, strong organizational skills, knowledge of LaTeX is a plus, knowledge of Perl is a plus, knowledge of Gurobi or CPLEX is a plus
Compensation: Academic Credit, Volunteer
Available: Fall, Spring, Summer
