Wave Propagation In Elastic/acoustic Metamaterials

I am looking for excellent undergraduate Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering students (GPA > 3.0) to carry out summer research on acoustic metamaterials (AMs). Exceptional candidates will be paid a summer stipend from a research grant.

AMs are engineered structures that exhibit unique dynamic properties culminating in their ability to filter out incident excitations and impede wave propagation. The project will involve modeling, simulation, as well as experimentation in the Sound & Vibrations laboratory. For more info, please see
