Spots on electrophoretic gels are often transferred electrically to a "Blotting Paper" for positional analysis. This Project seeks to utilize the same approach to transfer the unknown gel-spots to semi-metallic germanium surfaces allowing subsequent spectroscopic analysis by the MAIR-IR technique.
Student Skill-Set Needed: Senior Engineering Majors would be most suited for this task.
