Student working on a research project.

Design And Development Of A UAV Tracking System

The project aims to build a UAV with a 20 lb payload capacity for at least 30 minutes. Early effort (through Fall 2012) will be to design and develop the plane.
Subsequent steps of the project involve the development of a camera based tracking system that will be used for autonomous surveillance operations. The efforts will culminate in a UAV tracking challenge to be held at Texas A&M University in Fall 2013.
