The idea here is to capture animals in their natural habitat using high-speed cameras as opposed to in the laboratory. Also you can make slow motion movies of fluids flow, contact, droplets, or anything that is moving.
We have a few high-speed cameras available to interested students to borrow and have fun with. We only require that you upload your movies onto our youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/BioFluidGallery
with enough information.
These videos will provide a great database for scientist for studying the animal behavior in nature and engineers for bio-inspired design.
Disciplines: Science, Art, Engineering
Student Skill-Set Needed: be interested and have a sense of curiosity and creativity
Available: Fall, Spring, Summer
