Variable Stroke R.P.I.C. Engine With Electronic Control

The purpose of this research project is to simulate, design, and implement a system which improves the efficiency of a reciprocating piston internal combustion engine similar to the engines typically found in automobiles. Project will entail rapid 3D prototyping techniques in junction with theoretical simulations.

Research Project Information

Student Skill-Set Needed: Must be a highly self motivated individual. Should have experience in basic electronics such as oscilloscopes, additive manufacturing techniques, system optimization, and familiarity with internal structures of engine. Must be able to work well on a team.
