Distiniguishing Morphospecies In A Caribbean Octocoral

The Caribbean octocoral, Plexaura homomalla has two recognized forms - homomalla and kukethali that have longed been considered one species. Recent observations of different reproductive modes of these two forms suggest that they are in fact different species. This project will use both morphologic and genetic data to distinguish between these two forms
