Micro-gravity Flight Test Experiments Of The Canfield Joint Attitude Manipulator

This project is aimed at providing a microgravity flight test experience to undergraduate students so that they can assess the performance of a novel actuator developed by the researchers at UB's Aerospace Robotics Laboratory. The students will be working on a realization of the novel attitude manipulator and test some momentum management capabilities using the multibody dynamics models derived and implemented by them.
Flight test data will enable the students to perform an error analysis and determine misalignment of the actuator system with respect to the main rigid body.

Student Skill-Set Needed: MAE students with some understanding on rigidbody dynamics are preferred
