Students will be working with personal histories: biographical data, family and regional historical data, and creative materials that compose a digital library of regional histories of African American women and men. Each history will be migrated from its current form to a more permanent data model. The histories will be researched for completeness and accuracy. Students working on this project will have an opportunity to learn about data management principals and technologies and gain experience in various research and fact checking methods.
