Beljan, of Eden, New York, evaluated remediation alternatives to improve the water quality of Onondaga Lake, ultimately helping to develop a method to aerate the lake that would improve the water and ecosystem.

Research Aide

The Energy Systems Institute (ESI) is a professionally run, exciting, challenging and rewarding place to work. As an ESI employee you never know what to expect on any given day, because there is always interesting research in progress. You will be involved in performing high voltage pulse and impulse experiments, partial discharge testing, data analysis, technical writing and various other engineering projects. A cooperative and supportive team of graduate and undergraduate students will assist you in getting involved and taking on leadership roles. Your time at ESI will equip you with the skills and experience necessary to succeed in the workforce and your career as an engineer. Openings vary based on projects, funding and your availability. ESI does require that you provide a resume to be considered for this multidisciplinary and multicultural team.
