Role Of NFI Genes In Brain, Lung And Tooth Development

I have had undergraduate students working on anything from a Web-based database on genes regulated by our Nuclear Factor I transcription factor family, to doing PCR analysis of gene transcripts in knockout mice, to doing transfection assays in tissue culture cells. It depends somewhat on the students skill set and desire to learn things in a specific area.
