Beljan, of Eden, New York, evaluated remediation alternatives to improve the water quality of Onondaga Lake, ultimately helping to develop a method to aerate the lake that would improve the water and ecosystem.

For children who are too frail or technology dependent to make the regular trip to a classroom, a webcam in the classroom for viewing at home, and a web cam in the home for the teacher to see the student. But more is needed. The teacher must have a screen with all participating children on one page, and the child at home must have a switch to hit, to get the teacher's attention.
