Beljan, of Eden, New York, evaluated remediation alternatives to improve the water quality of Onondaga Lake, ultimately helping to develop a method to aerate the lake that would improve the water and ecosystem.

The Division of Behavioral Medicine is looking for undergraduate and graduate students to assist on a number of research studies. The Behavioral Medicine lab is an active lab that conducts several laboratory,clinical and field studies to examine different factors that may lead to the development of pediatric obesity. The student would assist in a field or laboratory study that is looking at long term habituation to different foods in 8-12 year old children.

Suggested Skill Set: Responsibilities will include: assisting staff in material preparation, entering data, screening potential participants for inclusionin the study, and helping staff in the implementation of study design. Interested students should have good commmunication skills and a flexible schedule.
