Wii For Engineering Design

The New York State Center for Engineering Design and Industrial Innovation (NYSCEDII) is looking for an undergraduate engineering student interested in the development of interactive engineering design environments. The project is focused on developing the necessary infrastructure for such environments based upon the Nintendo Wii. Specific tasks include, determining the location of the hardware to use the Wiimote as a tracker with LEDs attached to various items, and determining the feasibility of developing a LED based tracker for a large scale visualization system if the Wiimote is used as a "wand".
