Beljan, of Eden, New York, evaluated remediation alternatives to improve the water quality of Onondaga Lake, ultimately helping to develop a method to aerate the lake that would improve the water and ecosystem.

An individual who can assist in the development of NYSCEDII's educational outreach through our website, www.nyscedii.buffalo.edu. The candidate would be expected to develop content for the website including tutorials and demonstrations that could be used by secondary school teachers.

Suggested Skill Set: The candidate should be familiar with HTML and Cascading Style Sheets and have some background in creating graphical applications, either using VRML, OpenGL, or a 3D modeling package.
